The Customer Service Representative II ensures customer satisfaction and company results by facilitating the efficient conversion of customer requirements into timely shipment of product. This includes maintaining and executing accurate information using internal and external systems. This is working as a cohesive effective team player providing support excellence.
Relocation package is NOT available for this position.
Responsibilities:- Maintains and enters all sales order information in the Company computer system and develops, compiles, and maintains data on customer related issues in PC software
- Selects the product and processes the necessary paperwork to initiate daily shipments based on the customers requested delivery requests
- Coordinates customer expedites including quoting the freight charges, logging the expedite for approval, communicating the delivery details internally and externally, and monitoring until closure.
- Provides customers with requested information through both oral and written communication
- Expedites all intra-company functions to assure timely shipment of product. Escalates issues as needed.

- Assists in the development of production schedules for specific product lines
- Monitors customer web sites during prescribed windows of time to identify changes in customer requirements. Modifies internal computer system to reflect these changes.
- Processes and distributes daily production reports to management and supervisory personnel
- Records distribution center complaints and follows ups to assure corrective action is implemented including Return Material Authorizations
- Prepares a variety of weekly or month-end reports for management review
- Supports the Materials Department personnel in data collection, analysis, expediting, and reporting as required
- Assists with annual physical inventory
- Supports and participates in the Company’s management and quality systems, continuous improvement efforts, environmental policies, etc.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- Associate's or 2-Year Degree in related field
- 2-4 years Account Support / Customer Service experience
- Automotive Industry experience preferred
- Organized, analytical thinking is a must
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, pleasant telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Some Travel expected up to 10%
