About the Job
This Customer Service position is responsible for processing customers' orders. Receive, investigate and respond to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, invoicing discrepancies, products and complaints.
Customer Service Duties & Responsibilities:
-Communicate with inter-company personnel and customers via phone or other means of technology concerning orders, returns, shipments and products.
-Receive and enter customer orders according to established departments policies and procedures ensuring accuracy and timelines.
-Support the achievement of quality performance consistent with customer expectation, company standards and regulatory requirements.
-Prepare customer reports as needed.
-Maintain customers account file maintenance.
-Verify orders with customers to ensure accuracy.
-Handle difficult and unsatisfied customers in a professional manner.
-Communicate with plant personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Focused selling of new and continual products.
-Building relationships with outside sales team and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Customer Service Skills & Requirements:
-Must have minimally two years customer service experience.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
-Must possess excellent telephone etiquette
-Must have proficient skills with Microsoft Office Software applications.
-Must have excellent data entry skills.
-Must be willing to work flexible hours.
-Must be able to verbally communicate, understand and write in the English Language
Customer Service work hours-1st shift, 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday, some weekends as needed
Customer Service starting wage is $16.48-17.10-Depending on experience
