About the Job
A growing non-profit organization dedicated to supporting community development and outreach initiatives is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in connecting with community members and providing information about our programs and services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Pay: $20 - $23 per hour
Schedule: ONSITE M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a high volume of inquiries from community members via phone, email, text, and in-person visits.
- Respond to calls and messages from new and existing community members in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide information about programs, verify requests, answer questions, and offer assistance regarding services offered.
- Serve as a liaison between community partners and our in-house team to facilitate collaboration.
- Assist with event registrations and manage follow-up communications.
- Support additional projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in customer service or community engagement roles preferred.
- Experience in non-profit or community-focused environments is a plus.
- Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels, both over the phone and in person.
