The Customer Service Representative supports customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints. They're the front line of support for clients and customers and they help ensure that customers are satisfied with products, services, and features.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Involve coordination of customer inquiries and sales, through both phone and internet, including order entry, price quotations; sales representative requests; record maintenance; assisting sales management as needed.
- Prepares and maintains summary reports for business reviews.
- Provides insight and assists with delivery/ customer relation decisions.
- Ability to understand product components and manufacturing processes.
- Familiar with a variety of department concepts, practices, and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 0 - 2 years of relevant experience Previous experience, especially in particular industry.
- Customer service, product and market knowledge
- Quality focus, problem solving, phone skills and documentation skills.
- Listening, resolving conflict analyzing information and multi-tasking
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), such as Oracle
- Strong personal interaction skills to foster positive relations with customers as well as company personnel. Ability to accurate work in a fast paced, team environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with customers.
- Active listening and communication skills to handle patrons who may be upset.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to write presentations and reports.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations to top management and public groups.
- Level of English must be at least professional.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
