Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for building lasting relationships with customers and the Comfort Design Heating & Air Conditioning team through excellent communications. This position will engage in contact with customers in our local communities to schedule service, maintenance, or new installation appointments.

Essential Job Duties:
- Schedules and dispatches technicians or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
- Operates and manages a multi-line telephone system, prioritizing and organizing calls according to urgency
- Relays information to and from customers, technicians, management, or other interested parties
- Manages work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, and other information
- Updates customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress
- Ensures a quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the technicians in the field
- Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation.

- Proactive, organized, detail-orientated self-starter
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance to management and employees verbally and in writing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
- Regular and reliable attendance
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of dispatching experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience with the following software applications: ServiceTitan or Google Suite
Physical Demands:
- Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed
- Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
- Ability to sit/stand at workstation for extended periods of time
- Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
