About the Job
We are looking for a Customer Care Representative that will be the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior. This is primarily a phone based position so call center experience would be helpful! Starting pay is $19.50/hour!
Responsibilities for the Customer Care Representative job include but are not limited to:
- Providing prompt, professional customer service to the client’s customers.
- Ensuring customers receive accurate billing information needed and problems are solved.
- Handling the verification, set-up, administration, and closing of customer accounts.
- Submitting service orders to field/billing employees and follow-up as needed.
- Handling general reporting, correspondence, and data entry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Customer Service or Call Center experience preferred.
- Cash handling experience.
- Strong customer service and human relations skills a must.
- Excellent oral, written, technical, and phone communication skills required.
- Self-starter with ability to work through conflict and come to a resolution.
- Must be able to document, organize, input, and manage customer and billing/account information/data efficiently and accurately. Knowledge of and ability to use computer programs and software (Microsoft Suite).
- Experience using Tyler ERP PRO 10 Utility Billing system is a plus.
- Experience working in Utilities is a plus.
