SUMMARY

Join Premier Swim Academy in Diamond Bar as a Swim Instructor / Customer Service Representative, where you’ll be at the heart of our mission to provide an outstanding experience for all swimmers and families. In this versatile role, you’ll warmly welcome and assist guests, expertly manage check-ins, and handle patron inquiries to ensure smooth operations. As a swim instructor, you’ll lead engaging, confidence-building lessons, following our proven curriculum to create a safe and supportive environment where swimmers of all ages can thrive.

Your professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail will help make every visit to Premier Swim Academy memorable, safe, and enjoyable for the entire community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome & Assist: Start and end each day with enthusiasm, assisting in opening/closing procedures and helping patrons with check-ins, inquiries, and account needs.
• Deliver Impactful Lessons: Follow Premier’s proven curriculum to provide high-energy, engaging swim lessons that build swimmers’ confidence and foster a love for the water.
• Promote a Positive Atmosphere: Be an active part of a supportive team environment, constantly finding ways to improve class attendance and increase family satisfaction.
• Maintain Safety & Organization: Ensure a safe and organized swim environment by setting up and breaking down stations, keeping lesson areas pristine, and clearly communicating safety measures.
• Engage with the Community: Know Premier’s programs and events, provide guidance to patrons, and build lasting relationships that support Premier’s mission.
• Stay Sharp: Keep your skills top-notch by attending quarterly in-service training programs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum

• CPR certification within 30 days of hire
• Dependability and dedication to scheduled shifts
• A natural communicator who connects well with adults and children alike
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours
• Reliable transportation and successful Live Scan background check

Preferred

• Background in swim instruction, coaching, or customer service
• Lifeguard certification
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs
