General Position Summary:
Apex Microtechnology (Apex) offers industry-leading innovation in the design and development of precision power analog components used to control current, voltage and speed for applications in the industrial, defense, aerospace, medical, and semi-cap markets. The Apex product family includes power operational amplifiers (Op-amp), pulse width modulation amplifiers (PWM), precision voltage references among other accessories and services.
The Customer Service Representative helps existing customers, requiring the individual to solve problems, answer questions, be flexible and multitask to create a seamless experience that drives long-term success and improve customer retention rate. This position may also help with billing and accounting issues. The ideal Customer Service Representative candidate will be empathetic, analytical, proactive, and results driven. This individual must be able to manage customer requests while enforcing internal controls, export controls, and gaining the required approvals.
Supervisory responsibilities:
This position does not have direct supervisory authority of other Apex Team members.
Essential functions and Responsibilities:
Issue price quote authorizations to the sales representative, distributor, and/or end customer.
Enter customer orders and maintain order status.
Work with the planning team on order allocation and other inventory related items.
Validate resale prices and end customers.
Generate revenue plan variances and other sales reports as required.
Track and obtain sales order information to maintain proper Failure Analysis process.
Coordinate efforts with Regional Sales Manager.
Reporting daily Sales bookings/billings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
Familiarity with maintaining CRM databases, and apply MS Excel skills to mine data and run custom reports for Regional Sales Managers (RSM)
The candidate must have the ability to work independently and make tactical decisions within clearly established guidelines
The candidate must be able to utilize databases to collect, organize and report sales data
