Our client, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of cleaning and sterilization systems for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and research laboratories, is in need of a professional customer service representative. This is a full-time, direct-hire position in West Palm Beach.
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Job Purpose:
The customer service representative plays a critical role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between the sales team, distributors, clients and the factory.
The CSR is responsible for issuing accurate quotations, processing customer orders and providing timely updates on order and delivery statuses. In addition, the CSR will maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce and SAP, process purchase orders and confirmations, and coordinate shipments and deliveries.
This role is focused on administrative support, emphasizing paperwork and email communication rather than traditional call center duties, enabling effective and efficient service delivery.
Job Description:
Issue quotations based on the information provided by the sales team, distributors and clients.
Process customer equipment orders and keep customers informed about their order and delivery status.
Update Salesforce and SAP with equipment and client information.
Process purchase orders to the factory.
Process order confirmations to clients.
Coordinate shipments and deliveries from the factory and/or from the USA to the point of contact.
This role is not typical customer service such as in a call center environment. The workflow is primarily centered around handling paperwork and emails. While phone calls are received occasionally, the majority of the communication is conducted via email.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service environment, preferably with a mix of phone contact, email communication, client and/or vendor communication, and order processing.
- Because most communications are via email, must have a solid grasp of written language (i.e., excellent grammar and punctuation).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software - must have used Word, Excel and Outlook in previous position(s).
- SAP and/or Salesforce experience. Will train on one or the other, if one of these programs is unfamiliar.
Benefits
Medical coverage is provided through the company, which covers 100% of employee medical benefits. Dental and vision benefits will be at the cost of the employee through bi-weekly payroll deductions. Insurance will take effect on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment with timely submitted forms.
