About the Job
Our client in Worcester, MA is seeking a qualified Customer Service Representative to support their Transportation & Inventory Department.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Must be flexible with working Saturday)
Starting Rate: $23.00-$24.00
Essential Job Duties:
- Data entry order processing
- Ability to work with high volume of emails.
- Verbal and written communication with customers regarding orders, inquiries, requests, and concerns
- Ensure transportation carriers are scheduled appropriately to meet customer shipping schedules.
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Interact with multiple departments and all levels of management.
- Warehouse personnel regarding order substitutions and revisions
- Sales force regarding orders, pricing, inventory, customer complaints, etc.
- Interact with outside carriers to confirm availability of loads for customer pickup.
- Manage customers database for advanced shipping notices and routing requests.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience
- Prior trucking/transportation scheduling experience
- Excellent phone skills
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to perform basic math
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
