Requirements:
- Supporting the home repair program by assisting homeowners in accessing small forgivable loans for repairs and reconstruction.
- Communicating professionally and patiently with homeowners, particularly older, low-income individuals, to provide clear explanations of program processes and requirements.
- Setting up meetings with homeowners to discuss their repair needs and providing updates on the status of their applications and repair processes.
- Responding to homeowners' emails and phone calls promptly, addressing their concerns, and helping them understand their options related to home repairs.
- Coordinating with contractors to ensure timely and efficient execution of repair work while maintaining open lines of communication with homeowners.
- Assisting in the preparation of documents for homeowner signatures, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Processing invoices related to home repairs and maintaining accurate financial records associated with the program.
- Supporting the team with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Actively listening to homeowners' concerns and providing guidance to help them navigate the program and repair options effectively.
Requirements:
- Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in social service or related experience.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Familiar with Adobe
