Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with customers, sales teams, and engineers to understand and document customer requirements for transformer products.
- Analyze technical and functional specifications provided by customers and translate them into clear, comprehensive documentation.
- Create detailed, accurate, and well-structured technical specifications for transformer products based on customer inputs.
- Ensure that specifications align with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, production, and quality assurance, to gather input and incorporate technical feasibility into specifications.
- Bridge the communication gap between customers and internal teams to ensure all parties have a clear understanding of project requirements.
- Maintain a centralized repository of customer specifications, ensuring version control and accessibility to relevant stakeholders.
- Update specifications as needed based on changes in customer requirements or internal design considerations.
- Review specifications for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, addressing any discrepancies or gaps.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to minimize errors and ambiguities in specifications.
- Communicate technical details and requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates to customers and internal teams on the progress of specification development and any changes that may impact the project.
- Identify potential conflicts or challenges between customer requirements and technical limitations, working with teams to find suitable solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and technological advancements related to transformers to enhance the accuracy and relevance of specifications.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate will embody the following characteristics and possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:

- Physical ability to perform sedentary work, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meticulously document complex technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate conflicting requirements and find optimal solutions.
- Collaborative team player with the capability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Previous experience in technical writing, specification development, or a similar role in the transformer industry is preferred.
