Position Details:
- Title: Customer Support Representative
- Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role will have 2-3 years’ experience in a customer service-related role, account management, marketing, or sales, preferably in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, flexible. *This position is ONSITE in an office setting with hybrid opportunities after 90 days.

Position Overview:
Customer Support Representative (CSR) provides proactive support to our sales team. CSR’s will be responsible for providing high-quality assistance to internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations, and helping the sales team achieve their goals. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Essential Functions:
Customer Support Representatives (CSR) support the sales team in managing customer expectations and ensuring a positive experience for the customer by supporting Sales Reps, Team Leads and Managers in the following areas:
- Manage new customer inquiries, set up new accounts and provide product and service information.
- Facilitate information between sales team and other departments in a timely manner to help manage customer expectations.
- Enter orders in a timely manner, ensuring close attention to details for entry accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain price quote letters.
- Coordinate with the sales team to resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or customer complaints.
- Maintain account related documents and spreadsheets as well as production and shipment trackers excel and smart sheets.
- Maintain and update external data entry required per customer’s process.
- Assist Sales Team with new Product Development Brief, Item Number Creation (NPL) and Lab Project entry (KPM).
- Identify opportunities for better workflow or process improvement.
- Attend key meetings to better understand ongoing client projects and product launches.
- Participates or assists with special projects and performs additional duties in support of departmental goals.
- Light office duties as assigned.
- May assist with the coordination of onsite and offsite marketing/sales events like trade shows and conferences.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience in a customer service-related role, account management, marketing, or sales.
- Customer service/account management experience in a production environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Advanced knowledge in Excel and Word.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others - team player.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision and in a collaborative environment.
- Deadline driven.
- Time management critical.
- Exceptional organizational and problem- solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills-ability to interface and communicate/collaborate at all levels internally and externally.
- Must be assertive and comfortable asking questions.
Desired Skills
- Bilingual preferred: Vietnamese or Spanish
- Experience with ERP systems. Microsoft D365 a plus.
- Smartsheet experience.
- Self-motivated, energetic and outgoing.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative attitude.
- Previous experience or interest working in the beauty/cosmetic industry.
- Ability to confirm to shifting priorities, demands and timetables.

Education
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- College degree a plus.
