About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) **Job Duration:** 27 weeks **Shift:** 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 4 days per week, with one night of call per week from 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM, and one weekend per month **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience, including open heart, valve replacement and creation, bypass, and both endovascular and open vascular cases **License:** Current active licensure by the State Board of Nursing **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel **Job Description:** - Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care - Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patient and family care - Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching - Communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team - Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure the implementation of solutions Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
