Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices, with a proven track record of architecting secure solutions for complex systems. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our systems, data, and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cyber Security Architecture: Design and implement comprehensive cyber security architectures that align with business objectives and adhere to industry standards.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address potential security threats.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain cyber security standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent security practices across the organization.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work with development teams to promote secure coding practices and integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Security Technology Implementation: Implement and manage security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption solutions.
- Security Testing: Conduct security testing and penetration testing to uncover vulnerabilities and ensure robustness.
- Incident Response & Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans to ensure rapid and effective responses to security incidents.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging threats and technologies, recommending and implementing security improvements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on architecture and design.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of cyber security principles, threat modeling, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption solutions.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across departments.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
- Cloud Security: Experience with cloud security and DevOps practices.
- AI/Client Security: Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning security concerns.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Automation Tools: Experience with security orchestration and automation tools.
