Join a self-motivated team of engineers responsible for the development of cyber security software products for a family of ground combat vehicles. The function of this position is to design and lead the implementation of an advanced, first of its kind cybersecurity application environment. A seasoned software engineer and a passion for cyber security is the ideal candidate for this position.

The following are the key duties and skills required:
- Architect, design and implement scalable, object oriented software
- Develop software with a variety of software languages
- Perform software requirements analysis
- Develop code to implement software design
- Debug software issues discovered throughout multiple testing phases
- Ensure CI/CD principles are followed throughout the project
- Develop and execute automated tests for embedded software systems within a DevSecOps pipeline to ensure continuous integration security, and compliance with technical standards
- Perform cyber software engineering and development duties to ensure the software product is maintained in accordance with all accreditation and configuration control requirements.
- Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferably in the area of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university (Relevant cyber technical certificates will be considered)
- 7 - 10 years software engineering experience.
- Programming experience in high level languages such as C#, Java, C++, Rust or Ada. Openness to learning customer specified languages required.
- Experience in a Cyber environment role is required.
- Significant experience and familiarity operating in a Linux Environment, including Bash scripting
- Experience with automotive/military embedded systems and board support, including Linux device drivers, bootloaders, or other system programming
- Familiarity with Networking or IPC (TCP, UDP, Queues, Pipes, Domain Sockets, SHM, Packet Capture and Analysis, etc), including socket programming.
- SELinux policy development experience (nice to have, not required)
- Familiarity with user story or ticketing software (Rally, Jira, Asana, etc)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Other Requirements:
- This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible; interim required before start)
- The flexibility to work non-duty hours or on weekends as needed by the project (We pay overtime unlike many software companies – but we try to not ever need it)
- Must satisfy Anthropometric Size Restrictions for access to military vehicles and be able to climb on vehicles and pass through hatches
