Job Summary:
This role involves supporting teammates in executing team responsibilities, including training and coaching, improving standard work, and addressing abnormal conditions
Responsibilities encompass problem-solving, ensuring safety, and maintaining the team's performance quality.
Essential Functions:
Actively seeks ways to enhance team performance, focusing at least 70% of daily activities on continuous improvement for better quality, customer service, productivity, and cost reduction.
Ensures testing quality in the assigned area, investigates issues, implements countermeasures, and documents abnormal conditions or quality problems.
Develops standard work, provides training for teammates, and conducts audits to ensure adherence to established procedures.
Supports the continuous flow of specimens, maintains point-of-use storage, and ensures 5S conditions for safety and quality standards.
Monitors team productivity, responds promptly to Andons, troubleshoots equipment issues, and covers gaps due to call-outs or unexpected absences.
Reports abnormal personnel situations to the Group Leader and initiates team-building activities
Stays receptive to changes in team spirit.
Education:
ASCP registered Cytogenetics or equivalent required.
Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
