SUMMARY
This position is responsible for analysis and utilization of Continuous Improvement tools to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations.
+ Entry-level engineering position for those looking to pursue a continuous improvement & solutions development career path within the transportation industry
+ Daily processing of orders & route generation for dedicated transportation customers
+ Custom processes to accommodate customer requirements
+ Interface regularly with local operators & recommend process improvement opportunities
+ Interface with automation processes and transportation modeling software
+ Introduction to logistical concepts & the foundation of CI, Lean, engineering, solution development & advance to a project-oriented CI engineering role within 2-3 yrs
+ Strong Microsoft suite skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Collects data and performs statistical analysis
Maps and documents processes
Conducts transportation analysis and/or time studies to establish standards
Participates in Continuous Improvement projects
Works with other team members to develop alternative solutions
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience.
Master's degree Industrial Engineering or relevant field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
One (1) year or more experience work experience or accredited internship/cooperative experience

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.
Compensation ranges for the position are below:
Pay Type :
Salaried
Minimum Pay Range:
65000
Maximum Pay Range:
75000
The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
