We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Analyst to support our mission of advancing data-driven decision-making. You’ll play an integral role in data engineering, evaluation, analysis, and quality control. Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll help shape data analytics strategies that contribute directly to our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Preparation & Documentation: Lead the creation of modeling data sets, processes, and documentation to democratize data access and insights across the organization.
- Data Evaluations: Set up and manage infrastructure for evaluating high-potential data sources, conducting proof-of-concept modeling, and sharing findings with the team, management, and vendors.
- Model scoring Process Optimization: Maintain and optimize model scoring processes, assisting with the development of Tableau reports on our cloud-based platform.
- Automated Process Management: Support the Data Science team in managing data and model scoring processes across hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles.
- Team Collaboration & Support: Assist new team members and cross-functional colleagues in understanding data processes and workflows.
- Data & Analytics Solutions: Partner with product owners, IT, vendors, and consultants to iteratively develop analytics solutions that satisfy both business and technical requirements.
- Pipeline & Automation Enhancements: Continuously improve our delivery pipeline through automation, test coverage expansion, and optimization of time-to-market and quality.
- Data Pipeline Optimization: Fine-tune existing data pipelines to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement robust data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date on industry trends in data engineering, recommending improvements where applicable, and mentoring peers on best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Proficient in data structures and SQL; hands-on experience with Python (experience with SAS/R is a plus).
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with data modeling and warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of public cloud data platforms, such as AWS and Snowflake, is preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly, with a design-thinking and test-driven development mindset.
