Job Description
The data analyst will develop within a custom internal tool a reconciliation engine ETL tool that supports multiple lines of business within client.
Most of the development work will be SQL based.
Excellent SQL skills is a must have.
They will be required to work in close conjunction with business partners to help flush out requirements and work through development and UAT iterations.
This role is equal parts, analysis, and development.
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of software engineering experience
· 6+ years of SQL experience
· 5+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
· 3+ years of Agile experience
· 3+ years of experience with Jira software, Confluence software or combination of both
· 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
· 5+ years of business banking or commercial banking experience
· 5+ years of experience analyzing requirements and designing new solutions for application and database components
· 5 + years of experience analyzing business requirements and transforming those requirements into business rules
· 5+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
· 5+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners
· 5+ years of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
· An industry-standard technology certification
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· A BS/BA degree or higher
· Change Management with ServiceNow experience
· Production support experience in a financial services company
· Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
· Ability to organize and present analysis in a holistic manner for management decisions
· Good communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
· Solid critical thinking skills
