Job Description:
As a Data Analyst, you will provide technical design expertise and play a pivotal role in improving data management within the client’s (OVR) data system. You will be responsible for addressing identified issues, developing solutions, and creating reports to track key performance metrics such as Measurable Skills Gains (MSG), Credential Attainment, and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS).

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.

You will be responsible for addressing identified issues, developing solutions, and creating reports to track key performance metrics such as Measurable Skills Gains (MSG), Credential Attainment, and Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the OVR team to assess and improve data management
- Develop comprehensive plans to address data management issues and streamline processes
- Create both standard and ad-hoc reports based on OVR’s requirements
- Design report templates and generate necessary reports
- Investigate flaws in the tracker system and propose solutions
- Aggregate and analyze data for MSG, Credential Attainment, and other performance metrics
- Deliver a plan to integrate Pre-ETS and Vocational Rehabilitation systems
Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies:
- Advanced data analytical skills with the ability to design ad-hoc reports in Business Object Enterprise (BOE)
- Experience as a liaison between business partners and IT staff, including project management and vendor coordination
- Expertise in planning and coordinating system integration testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Strong leadership abilities in managing project risks, compliance issues, and system enhancements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to interact with various levels of staff, including senior executives
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and develop relationships across cross-functional teams
- Experience in training coordination, including developing training materials, reference guides, and SOP manuals
- Ability to analyze legislation or business documentation for IT system or process changes
- Proven track record of systematic problem-solving and decision-making
