The Data Analyst Intern will play an integral role in all finance and operations analytics that cover a variety of analytics & process improvements projects. The intern will be expected to work on-site on our Ballwin office three days a week, including Mondays and Thursdays. At the end of this three-month internship and upon further assessment of performance, you will have the opportunity of being offered a full-time position.

Start/End dates are flexible, but internship is expected to start in September or October 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases and data sources.
- Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize key metrics and insights.
- Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Assist in data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and generate actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and results.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and database management systems. Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tool, Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Must possess strong initiative and take ultimate ownership of work
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) for data manipulation and modeling.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Advanced degree in analytics related fields.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater
- Students graduating on or before May 2025.
More Details:
- Pay range: $27 - $30/hr based on prior experiences and other factors.
- Weekly commitment: 24 hours or 3 business days a week.
- Work on-site on our Ballwin office 3 days a week, including Mondays and Thursdays
