Data Analyst - Inceed

Compensation: $45-55/hr
Location: Lenexa, Kansas
Position: Data Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Analyst to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to leverage data insights in support of a dynamic organization. This Senior Data Analyst role provides the chance to work with diverse datasets, contribute meaningfully to data-driven business strategies, and collaborate with various departments across the organization. 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to identify and communicate insights aligned with key business goals, while developing dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity, and maintain reliable data storage and retrieval systems.
• Partner with internal teams to integrate data solutions into broader business processes, collaborating closely with various departments to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Perform data analysis using modeling tools, including MS Fabric, SQL, Python, and R. Create informative visualizations using platforms like Power BI.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and performance.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and interpretation
• Proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., MS Fabric, SQL, Python, R)
• Strong understanding of data principles, statistical techniques, and data modeling
• Skilled in Power BI and other data visualization tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Professional certifications in data analysis, such as Certified Data Management Professional or Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate
• Resides in or near the Kansas City Metro Area
