Job Summary: The S&OP Data Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing our sales and operations planning processes by providing insightful data analysis and reporting. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting, efficient inventory management, and effective alignment between sales and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze historical sales data, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics to support demand forecasting and supply planning.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards that provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and S&OP metrics.
- Forecasting: Assist in the creation and maintenance of demand forecasts and supply plans, using statistical methods and business insights.
- Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance S&OP processes and tools, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across systems, performing data validation and cleansing as needed.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct special analyses and support strategic initiatives as required by management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS) is a plus.
- Experience: 1-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a sales and operations planning or supply chain environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and analysis.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
