Data and Analytics Developer - Entry Level
Full Time Perm
Salary: $37.21 - $55.86 per hour, plus annual bonus
Way of Work: Remote
The Enterprise Data Strategy department owns the data strategy for the enterprise data lake house.
The Data and Analytics Developer - Entry Level will craft and enhance data and analytics solutions. In this role you will collaborate closely with business teams to understand the challenges at hand, handle data extraction and preparation, and create analytic models, visualizations, and user interfaces. The Data and Analytics Developer - Entry Level also plays a part in shaping analytics best practices, implementing data governance standards, and ensuring the longevity of solutions. Lastly the Developer integrates data governance policies into product development under the mentorship of senior staff, follows their lead, and applies standard procedures to address routine issues.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
+ Leverages SQL and Python functions to extract and shape data
+ Develops and implements analytics solutions (including data models, data sets, and integrated analytics) to solve business needs, accelerate insights and inform actions and adhere to data governance and IT policies and standards.
+ Consults with Data Product Owner and technical leads on the design of the Enterprise Data Lake environment to maximize the quality, accessibility, and re-usability of data.
+ Establishes, promotes, and monitors adherence to policies and standards for data products.
+ Partners with IT to ensure the technical stability and performance of user facing technology and establish upgrade strategies and roadmaps.
+ Develops a strong understanding of business processes, company enterprise platform, and table structures/relationships to extract and organize data into and enterprise data model.
+ Focuses on descriptive and diagnostic solutions and gains awareness of predictive concepts
+ Automates the monitoring of datasets for completeness and data quality

Experience listed below could be obtained through a combination of school work, classes, research, or any relevant previous job or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Data and Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related business or quantitative discipline
+ 1+ year of experience in data engineering, application development, relational databases, or cloud infrastructure
+ 1+ year of experience using Python
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with containerization and microservices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
+ Experience with statistical modeling
+ Experience deploying and maintaining code with version control tools
