Job Description
The Data Architect is responsible for developing the underlying architecture supporting data-centric solutions. Collaborating with leadership and engineering team members, the Data Architect will assess technological options, conduct/lead data exploration efforts, and review design offerings to ensure developed solutions adhere to established best patterns and architectural target state.&
Qualifications
•& & & & & & & & & & & Minimum 8 years of experience developing large-scale, distributed, data-centric (e.g., Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Big Data) solutions
•& & & & & & & & & & & Experience with persisting data in one or more Relational and NoSQL DB technologies
•& & & & & & & & & & & Strong understanding of architecture patterns and operational characteristics of highly available and scalable applications
•& & & & & & & & & & & Experience designing data architectures around data analytics and ML frameworks
•& & & & & & & & & & & Experience building service-oriented architectures and proficiency with distributed systems built on the cloud (AWS)
•& & & & & & & & & & & Experience with message broker software
Common Optional Qualifications
•& & & & & & & & & & & Experience with API gateways and authentication technologies, such as OAuth2 and SAML
•& & & & & & & & & & & Experience building large-scale data services, microservices based applications in the cloud environment
