POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
Design an enterprise data and integration strategy with a focus on maintainability, reusability, and scalability for existing/new solutions while maintaining a balance between business needs and total cost of ownership. Provide guidance with API and Enterprise Service Design. Establish Secure strategies for integrations and data. Provide insights into the architectural solutions and offer technical assistance to the enterprise reporting platform, strengthening Charter Manufacturing’s Business Intelligence capabilities by defining the vision and guidelines in adopting best practices that align with Charter’s Digital Strategy. Establish relationships with Business Relationship Managers to assist in the needs of the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
Five plus years' experience in the areas of API design, data integration, data quality, data governance, (ETL, ELT) and security.
Experience with integrating applications and data across a hybrid environment.
Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
Advanced knowledge of architecture, design, and business processes.
Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs and design.
Experience with creating secure service routes.
Understanding of API management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with Azure, APIM, Oracle SOA, and Oracle EBS.
Experience in a Data or integration Architect role at an organization centered on Oracle ERP solutions and hybrid environments.
Experience in data modelling tools, data warehouse platform, and data marts.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schemas, snowflake schemas, highly normalized data models).
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead the effort to standardize master data management tools, processes, and governance.
Establish and formalize guiding principles, procedures, and standards that build business metrics and data models to integrate with ETL tools and application interfaces.
Assist in defining the optimum architectures of ETL tools and data warehouses by creating models and data quality management solutions.
Lead efforts to create and design a robust enterprise service layer.
Ensure compliance with company polices, audit requirements, and data privacy acts.
Participate in solution implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Provide technical leadership regarding data and integrations for implementation teams.
Review and validate detailed level design documentation.
Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate future programs and business opportunities.
Keep abreast with industry technologies and tools in EIM and MDM domain and determine feasibility of emerging technologies/trends and its application in the Charter Manufacturing environment.
Ability to turn around improvement opportunities to a minimal viable product.
Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.
