About the Job
Role : Data Architect
Pay : DOE
Contract Length : 6 Month CTH
Location : Remote /Arlington, VA
VISA : US , Green Card , GC-EAD , H4-EAD
Responsibilities include:
* Design and implement enterprise data lake and warehousing platform, incorporate enterprise data using tools such as Azure Synapse Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Oracle, or MSQL
* A Data Systems Architect will determine requirements and assist in design of ETL, ELT, new queries, views, and models
* Document, publish, and present design reports
* The Data Systems Architect is continuously identified areas of improvement and implement best practices
* Coordinate with other teams and departments to reach project milestones and deadlines
* A Data Systems Architect will audit databases and integrations to ensure usability, uptime, and data integrity
* Work with cybersecurity team to ensure the security of the data
* The Data Systems Architect will extract, transfer, clean, and manipulate data
* 7+ years of experience with data architecture, design, and engineering
* 7+ years of experience with database management tools such as SSMS, Amazon Redshift, and others
* Proficiency in SQL, PHP, and Python; SOQL (Salesforce) and Suite QL (NetSuite) preferred
* Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Procore, Ecosys, Concur, P6 Primavera, CMMS tools, JIRA, and Confluence
* Proficiency with time series data collection from IoT devices and other sources
* Experience with REST & SOAP APIs to pull data into a data warehouse, lake, provide automation, and call procedures
* Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker
* Experience with Azure and AWS
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple terms
