Roles and responsibility
- Competent and proven skills to transform and map data from raw data from various sources into another format that can be easily accessed by Tableau, MS SQL, Splunk, and other analytics tools.
- Responsible for the detailed design of the enterprise data warehouse and data marts from inception through production support, including the establishment of principles and procedures as well as documentation, review and final sign-off of the data models and data marts.
- Responsible for establishing guidelines for technical requirements, documenting system design elements such as models, specifications and diagrams, and for all processes that are directly related to data model artifacts, including the logical mapping of the source to the target and physical modeling
- Design, tune, maintain and support data systems for highly available, high-volume Internet applications
- Works with Product Management to understand the business requirements and business processes, design data warehouse schema and define extract-translate-load and/or extract-load-translate processes for the warehouse.
- Ensure quality, coverage and accuracy of data. Validate data quality content in conjunction with leveraging reports and tools to monitor and visualize data.
- Conduct quality assurance and audit on all data.
- Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis for data issues.
- Interact with all levels of people including Product Managers, Engineers, Customer Support and Project Managers to support their needs

- Amazon RedShift - Must Have
- MySQL - Must have (more of admin/data side, not the using as backend web app side)
- Tableau - Must Have
- AWS - (Know how to operate in the cloud for everything)
- Splunk - Nice To Have
- NoSQL - Very nice to have but not a must have
