The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our customer base within a designated territory. If you have a knack for building long-lasting relationships, a proven track record in territory sales, and hands-on experience with mission-critical projects, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Understand customer needs and requirements, and present appropriate product solutions.
- Drive the entire sales process: identify and qualify prospects, deliver detailed product presentations, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular updates to management about progress and forecast.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and workshops as required.
- Manage and resolve client issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center sales or a related field.
- Proven track record in territory management and prospecting.
- Solid experience in territory sales, specifically in data center solutions, server racking, cooling solutions, critical power supply, and networking equipment.
- Experience in managing mission-critical projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
