About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in mechanical design and documentation using 3D CAD tools (e.g.,SolidWorks, Catia, Inventor).
- 3 years of experience in designing and analyzing with tolerance analysis and tolerance loop methodologies.
- 3 years of experience with structural analysis tool such as RISA 3D or similar.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- Experience in designing complex modular building scale assemblies with an expert understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.
- Experience in mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, structural beams or elements and international building codes.
- Ability to setup and manage PDM (Product Data Management) systems.

Responsibilities
- Create test plans, perform testing, and validate designs to meet engineering requirements.
- Resolve, troubleshoot, and root cause potential technical issues.
- Influence and shape products by providing mechanical and structural engineering expertise into the technology road map with data-driven decisions.
- Identify and scope projects around innovation opportunities and technology risks.
- Provide technical mentorship and coaching and foster professional growth within the team.
