Work Schedule: 4 days per week (3 days off); Shifts start at 7 PM
Job Summary:
As a Data Center Supervisor, you will report to the Site Manager, and you will be responsible for overseeing the Data Center Technician(s) on the 3rd- Shift, as well as essential to monitoring and responding to simple infrastructure problems and maintaining the cleanliness of our site operations. You will be responsible for escalating and informing Site Management of operational and personnel challenges.
Your daily responsibilities will include supervising the team’s productivity, as well as monitoring infrastructure, responding to problems at the tank, system, block, or site level, performing preparatory work in support of mining operations, and completing routine cleaning tasks. You will be trained to recognize problem situations, respond according to established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel to resolve noted problems.

People Oversight:
- Responsible for onboarding and training new hires to ensure the team is skilled and knowledgeable in the Data Center Technician role.
- Motivate and inspire a high-performing team to hit Operational and safety KPIs through clear accountability.
- Manage attendance and low-level employee relations issues with Managerial oversite and HR partnership.
- Escalates to Site Management regarding all personnel issues timely and with sensitivity.
- Assist with scheduling, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and identify infrastructure failures; respond by following necessary protocols and escalate to management appropriately.
- Complete daily visual inspections and reporting.
- Ensure proper care and handling in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Work cross functionally with inventory team to ensure all cleaning, maintenance, and operational supplies are stocked.
- Performs routine cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements, including dusting, sweeping, washing floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and waste disposal.
- Interact respectfully with all external vendors/partners/subcontractors.
- Operate equipment, including but not limited to floor sweeper, floor scrubber, forklift, and scissor lift.
- Maintain working knowledge of infrastructure, data center operations, and cleaning methods.
- Comply with all safety requirements, including OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Prior technical or construction/laborer experience preferred.
- Prior experience Supervising a team of 3 or more.
- Mechanically inclined – has an aptitude for mechanical systems and components.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Must be able to perform physical labor, often in high-heat situations.
- Effective problem-solving skills, communication, and results oriented.
Physical Demands:
The Data Center Supervisor must be able to speak, hear, see, read, write, type, dial, reach, stoop, pull, and bend. Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing, and walking. Repetitive motion of hands, fingers, back, and wrists. Manual work: lifting up to 30 lbs., extended reach, and overhead work.
