Job Description:
We have multiple openings for mid-level data center technicians. These technicians will be responsible for IT cabling on a grand scale. We have an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for a large data center in Chandler, AZ. Your role will involve leading and assisting in the construction of the infrastructure, including pulling cable, pulling fiber, understanding and applying color codes, punching down and terminating cable & fiber, installing cable trays and pathways, building server racks, and assisting with electronic security installation.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Run, terminate, and install IT cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Coaxial, and Fiber Optics).
2. Install grounding for server racks, equipment, and cable as required (heavy Cisco environment).
3. Perform fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, and on low voltage devices.
4. Terminate low-voltage devices and IT hardware (cameras, servers, switches, etc.).
5. Follow blueprints precisely to ensure the work is being carried out correctly.
6. Fully complete all paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers, and others as required).
7. Adhere to and participate in all company, customer, and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.
8. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in IT cabling and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
• Strong understanding of color codes and cable termination techniques.
• Proficiency with basic hand/power tools.
• Punctual, team player, and flexible with hours.

Work Environment:
You will be working in a large data center in Chandler, AZ. Typically, these locations are under construction. Must be comfortable with heights and wearing PPE (steel toe boots, vest, hard hat, goggles/glasses, and gloves).
