Job Title: Data Collection Systems Technical Lead

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Salary: Base salary range around 80k to 90k + relocation expenses & client approved benefits.

Job Description:

Setup, implementation, and operation of complex technical systems, including the mounting/wiring of hardware and the setup of specialized software, both current and future.

Collaborate with team to maintain documentation in key processes

Addressing gaps in technical systems, including local networking, operational process issues, and missing/incomplete software and hardware.

Analyze data to assist engineering with root cause analysis

Improve platform reliability through timely response to reported issues; provide in the moment direction to data collection operators when issues experienced in field

Collaborate with team across several locales to analyze and resolve issues

Experience and Skills

You must be an expert with using both consumer and prototype devices, and able to lift and move equipment for different systems.

Sound troubleshooting theory and demonstrated ability to utilize system logs and metadata to assemble facts and order-of-operations in triage of complex systems

Sound technical troubleshooting and triage methodology

Interfacing with less-technical operators to both explain system functionality and demonstrate proper procedures.

2+ years' experience with macOS, iOS devices preferred

Familiarity with bash scripting, Python, network debugging preferred
