Position Title: Data and Compliance Specialist
Division: ADS
Work Location: Florence
Salary: $45,000 to $48,000
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
Supervisor: ADS Administrative and Financial Manager
Position Purpose This is a highly responsible, specialized, and technical position in providing continuous oversight and compliance review within the Aging and Disability Services Division. An employee in this class is responsible for assisting in implementing technical assistance, including but not limited to quality assurance, contract management, and compliance with the regulations related to division. Additionally, this position will serve as a backup to the Administrative and Financial Manager and assist with the Aging Finance processes which include invoicing, data entry, budget analysis, and program coordination. Duties are performed under limited supervision.

Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Assists in establishing resource linkages among agencies to insure accessibility and coordinates program efforts.
- Participate as appropriate in meetings, conferences, and trainings. Staffing of committees/meetings as needed.
- Assists in the review and preparation of monthly financial reports. Submits reports as appropriate to the correct entity. Provides back up to the Administrative and Financial Director in the event of their absence.
- Development of program tools and components relative to quality assurance trends of the division.
- Assists with Fiscal Court Contract Including Monthly Reports, Billing, and assist with the preparation of the fiscal court application for funding.
- Maintain oversight of Quality Related Activities as directed.
- Work with program staff and serve as a liaison to providers for all quality processes related to provider quality assurance.
- Conduct monitoring for In Home service providers at the direction of the Associate Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in Personnel, Human Services, Public Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred) or any combination of training and experience which meets the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload. Expected to exercise discretion about significant matters.
- Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word, excel, processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.
- Must have elevated level of people skills to handle sensitive and confidential information. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective personal and consultive relationships with federal, state, and local governmental agencies, other staff members, staff members or partner organizations, and local government officials.
- Must be able to work in a challenging environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.
- General knowledge of contract processes and requirements.
- Ability to perform basic research and to write and speak effectively.
- Ability to prepare plans and reports in a neat, concise, and accurate manner.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, budgetary accounting, and record keeping procedures (preferred).
Work Requirements:
- Work is performed typically indoors in an office setting. It requires intermittent standing, sitting, or stooping.
- Work requires consistent use of computer and phone system as well as other office equipment as well as mental capabilities.
