Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Big Data, AWS EC2, AWS EMR, Amazon S3, and Apache Spark. This role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing geospatial data to drive business insights and support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex geospatial data to provide actionable insights for business decisions.
- Utilize Big Data technologies to manage and process large datasets efficiently.
- Implement and manage AWS EC2 instances to support geospatial data processing tasks.
- Leverage AWS EMR for scalable data processing and analytics.
- Utilize Amazon S3 for efficient storage and retrieval of geospatial data.
- Apply Apache Spark for distributed data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data into various business processes.
- Develop and maintain geospatial data models and databases.
- Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial analysis and Big Data.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processing workflows and methodologies.
