Job Position: Data Engineer
Location: Malvern PA- Must be open to Relocate after February
Rate: DOE

This person will help maintain the existing Vanguard Domino Data Lab application and SageMaker Studio Platform. Domino Data Lab is a complex vendor application with numerous integrations that is deployed on top of Kubernetes. The SageMaker Studio Platform is a complex serverless system that will require infrastructure and application developer skills.
Our teams are cross-functional, self-organizing, and autonomous. You will work directly with the product owner daily.
In your role you will:
Perform all technical tasks related to building, maintaining, refactoring, and enhancing Vanguard Domino Data Lab, SageMaker Studio.
Write specifications for cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation, Troposphere and other IaC frameworks.
Create build pipelines to package and deploy those specifications.
Implement instrumentation for monitoring product health, business metrics, and consumption patterns.
Create dashboards and alerting using tools like Splunk to ensure proper operation.
Performance tune infrastructure to optimize cost and speed of your workloads.
Update application logic of Lambda functions, and other support IaC projects
Create automated tests to verify the products you maintain work after being changed.
Write documentation and provide support to internal clients
