Data Engineer with Databricks and SSIS


This is a W-2 position only (no staffing agencies or contractors). Candidates must currently reside in the U.S.
 
REMOTE POSITION. Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Core hours: 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
 
Summary:
This is for a production support/developer at Customer Data Marts. Trouble Shoot / Install and troubleshoot SSIS Package

• Provides expert content and professional leadership on complex engineering assignments and projects.
• Designs and develops a consolidated, conformed enterprise data warehouse that stores all critical data across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client, and Benefits data.
• Designs, develops, and implements methods, processes, tools, and analyses to sift through large volumes of data in a data warehouse or data mart to identify relationships and patterns.
• Participates in delivering the definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making across the enterprise through analytics and reporting.
• Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
• Uses deep professional knowledge and expertise to advise functional leaders.
• Focuses on providing thought leadership within Information Management while working on broader projects that require a wider business understanding.
• Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
• Completes day-to-day business development tasks without immediate supervision but has ready access to guidance from more experienced team members.

• Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience designing and maintaining a Databricks environment.
• Experience designing and maintaining a SQL Server environment.
• Experience querying relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Experience with Agile methodology for software development.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools, specifically SSIS.

• BA/BS required; MS/MA preferred.

• 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• 1-2 years of client experience preferred.
