MatrixHR is currently recruiting for a very exciting 2 to 3 year long project located in Vancouver BC. We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join their Project Inspection Team.
Role Overview:
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for collating and inputting data into the company's computer program, which serves as the controlling system for project inspections. You will work with reports from NDE (Non-Destructive Engineering) technicians and handle a variety of documentation, including general arrangement drawings, statutory certifications, test packs, and memos. Your role will be pivotal in creating and maintaining equipment files until the documentation is handed over to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Module File Creation: Develop and manage module files for all equipment installed as part of the project.
- Data Collation: Gather and collate all information related to modules to build comprehensive module file content.
- Filing System Management: Create and oversee a structured filing system for module files.
- Tag Creation: Generate module tags in the Data Management System for all project equipment.
- Data Input: Accurately input information from client documents and the Quality Team into the Data Management System.
- Data Management: Collate and input metric data, CAR (Corrective Action Requests), observations, and test packs into the Data Management System.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Office programs (Word and Excel) and a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Experience: Preferred experience in a technical environment, with a technical translation background being an advantage.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both the local language and English is required.
- Training: While training on company systems will be provided, a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new systems is essential.
