Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Data Entry Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. This position offers an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact on our procurement operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and tracking of medical supplies and equipment, utilizing their expertise in procurement, data entry, and operations management. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize your 10 key data entry skills to accurately input, update, and maintain procurement data and vendor information in our database system.
2. Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of medical supplies and equipment.
3. Oversee the creation and execution of purchase orders, verifying order details and ensuring the correct materials are ordered and delivered on time.
4. Implement demand planning strategies to forecast the need for supplies and equipment, ensuring we always have the necessary resources on hand.
5. Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure the seamless integration of procurement operations with overall production schedules.
6. Identify and implement cost reduction strategies, maximizing the efficiency of our procurement operations and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
7. Regularly review and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring they meet our quality and delivery standards, and taking corrective action as necessary.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the medical industry.
2. Proficient in 10 key data entry, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
3. Demonstrated experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
4. Strong knowledge of operations management, including demand and production planning.
5. Experience in creating and managing purchase orders.
6. Proven ability to identify and implement cost reduction strategies.
7. Experience in supplier sourcing and evaluation.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
10. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
11. A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
