Data Entry Specialist - Piper Companies

Piper Health & Sciences is looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a leading biotechnology company in Raleigh-Durham, NC area. The position is a contract role through end of January 2025.

Responsibilities for the Data Entry Specialist include:

·       Analyze, enter and transfer all data from paper-based records into electronic files for various systems

·       Performing patient renewals and insurance verifications

·       Checking medical record data for accuracy and completeness as well as verifying data sources

·       Organize and maintain all data in Excel spreadsheets

·       Adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications for the Data Entry Specialist include:

·       1+ years of experience with data entry

·       Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) is highly preferred

·       Excellent communication and attention to detail skills

·       Associate’s Degree is preferred, not required

Compensation for the Data Entry Specialist includes:

·       Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

·       Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (through Cigna)
