MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in a team setting to outline requirements and assess solutions for Data Governance tools
- Collaborate with the data governance lead and data stewards to devise, support, and popularize the organization's data principles, policies, and standards
- Conduct data profiling using a variety of standards and complex rules to uncover potential data issues and the necessity for data standards
- Contribute to the management and optimization of the Master Data Management platform
- Utilize data quality tools to examine data sets rigorously
- Customize data quality monitoring systems to align with specific project requirements
- Undertake comprehensive data analysis to Client trends and patterns
- Summarize and present analysis findings coherently
- Document and maintain business rules governing data
- Guarantee the integrity, completeness, and precision of data definitions through meticulous quality checks
- Identify the root causes of data discrepancies and coordinate with data stewards for resolution
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or comparable experience
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in roles focusing on data management, integration, governance, and/or quality
- Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight, showcasing self-motivation
- Demonstrated ability in analyzing and interpreting complex database structures
- Strong proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation
- Solid foundation in relational database design concepts
- Intermediate skills in SQL
- Competence in translating business requirements into data and analytical specifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
- Practical knowledge of Python, Tableau, or similar analytical tools
- Hands-on experience with Data Governance tools (e.g., Purview, Collibra, Alation)
- Proven track record in data and business analysis roles
- Previous engagement in a Data Governance organization
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
