Position Title: Data Management and Implementation Director
Location: Irving, Texas (Dallas Metro)
Salary: $110,000 - $168,000
Summary:
In this role, you will combine healthcare supply chain business knowledge with analytics and database skills to improve outcomes and optimize efficiency. You will maintain and deliver supported data acquisition solutions, automated to provide accurate and complete supply chain data from hospital-based Information Technology (IT) applications. Your responsibilities will include performing advanced technical tasks and data quality analytics to support team functions and ensure high-quality data flows into benchmarking tools and reports to address challenges and enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead conversations with business and technical representatives regarding all data aspects of new facility implementations and manage existing implementations.
- Analyze and understand inbound data from provider facilities, including non-labor spend and other financial data.
- Provide gap analysis to identify where the facility’s data meets requirements, and why and where it does not.
- Define and gather requirements for successful engagement completion or product implementation.
- Build configurations, business rules, and data mapping using internal company tools.
- Test data import and workflow and serve as the point person for data acquisition updates.
- Collaborate with facility project teams and IT to coordinate the receipt and import of historical and ongoing daily data into the database.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Business, Software Programming or Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience with healthcare Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications and healthcare supply chain bolt-on technologies required.
- Working knowledge of healthcare supply chain including data, manufacturer vs supplier and vendor, catalog numbers, Unit of Measure (UOM), Pack Factors, Electronic Data Interface (EDI), and Punch-outs required.
- Basic knowledge of File Transfer Protocols (FTP), such as FileZilla, MoveIt, PSFTE, and WinSCP required.
- Advanced understanding of MS SQL for data querying, data analysis, and script development required.
- Experience in software development and an understanding of programming concepts and logic flow of applications preferred.
- Basic knowledge of batch languages and Windows Task Scheduler, with the ability to modify existing logic from existing scripts preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate the exchange of information with provider business groups such as Accounts Payable (AP), Materials Management (MM), and IT teams preferred.
Estimated Hiring Range:
We consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $168,800.00
