SUMMARY
Responsible for managing and coordinating all internal activities required for the development and approval of all matters pertaining to contracts and pricing for the Orthopaedic Division. Also responsible for formulating corporate account business plans as they pertain to contract and pricing issues and implement and monitor contract compliance programs. Handles assigned pricing territory with minimal supervision. Seeks direction from senior business analysts and pricing administration manager on group contract pricing and territory issues. Resolves and manages customer pricing issues through the analysis of credit requests deductions and complaints.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responsible for the preparation of P&L statements and in conjunction therewith for developing and making recommendations to ensure economic viability. Also analyze and interpret data to make recommendations in regional and local markets.
2. Responsible for bids and proposals including pricing guidelines and contractual/legal considerations.
3. Requires preparation of sales reports/data for account analysis to include any custom sales information reporting.
4. Manages and monitors pricing exceptions deductions and credits to identify any pricing problems.
5. Assist Distributors and Office Managers with local contract expirations and pricing issues.
6. Assists CMCA Account Management regarding evaluation of and response to national contracts regarding orthopaedic products.
7. Prepares analysis for and implements annual price list.
8. Coordinates and evaluates the training of Contract Administrator. Audits accuracy and timeliness of the Contract Administrator presenting any issues to the Pricing Administration Supervisor.
9. Coordinates and evaluates the training of District/Distributor Administrative Personnel as it relates to contract and pricing issues.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
these are non-essential job duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Coordinate and publish articles for quarterly Pricing Administration Newsletter. Assist Pricing Administration Supervisor special projects and regional responsibilities. Provides monthly recap of contract activities. Performs other related duties as assigned. Become acquainted with the markets and products for Orthopaedic Division Participates in company programs an undertakes training to improve job skills and productivity.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor s degree in business administration plus three (3) years of experience is required. A degree in finance accounting or marketing with an emphasis in quantitative business analysis is preferred. Requires basic knowledge of *** Inc. Orthopaedics products and its competitors.Good communication skills (grammar/writing public speaking and telephone skills) are necessary. Must possess good organizational skills plus demonstrate tact diplomacy discretion and judgment.
SCOPE OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be responsible for A. Assisting in the submission of contracts generating sales up to *** million B. Performing the maintenance necessary to help implement the annual pricing project. There is no authority for expenditures. For Supervision Team Leader responsibilities in training and processes of contract administrator.
