DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work on the end-to-end analytics for strategic initiatives and digital tests, which includes providing recommendations and sizing for new initiatives, regular performance measurement (conversion, engagement, adoption, quality metrics), customer behavior analysis, A/B test reads, data validation and troubleshooting. Consult on experimental design and data collection. Conduct deep dive analysis of unstructured business problems by developing and following through on an analytics plan across both branch and digital initiatives. Visualize data, create dashboards and decks to tell the analytics story. Interpret results and present to stakeholders and senior management. Partner with strategy managers to optimize their initiatives and refine prioritization of capabilities. Collaborate across analytics teams to share learnings and techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or related quantitative field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist Associate, Lead Data Science Analyst, Business Analyst, Decision Scientist or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or related quantitative field of study plus 5 years in the job offered or as a Data Scientist Associate, Lead Data Science Analyst, Business Analyst, Decision Scientist or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience with the following: SQL; SAS or Python; Tableau; Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics or other behavior analytics tools; Hypothesis testing; A/B testing; Data Presentation; Microsoft Excel pivot tables, power pivots, and vLookup retrieval functions; PowerPoint data visualization; Exploratory Data Analysis; Experimental Design; Business Statistics including Probability; Processing large data sets; and Data wrangling and preparation; and Unix commands.
Job Location: 10 S Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60603. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
