Summary
Our Growth Sciences team is seeking a Data Scientist who thrives in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. As part of our innovative team, you’ll drive real-world impact through data experimentation, predictive analytics, and AI and Gen AI driven solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of how data influences both our internal product strategies and client business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a curious, entrepreneurial thinker with a passion for uncovering insights from a wide array of data sources—ranging from sales and media to eCommerce and consumer behavior data. You’ll play a key role in designing data solutions that tackle complex marketing challenges, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Client-Focused Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify business challenges, define questions, and build data-driven solutions using advanced analytics.
- Design and apply machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and statistical methods to extract insights and forecast trends.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze diverse datasets to uncover actionable insights for marketing and business decisions.
- Leverage data visualization techniques to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build scalable data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and quality from collection to reporting.
- Collaborate with other team members to integrate and deploy models in production environments.
- Develop and implement Gen AI solutions to enhance client marketing strategies, ensuring personalized and highly effective campaign outcomes.
Internal Team Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop Data Science and Gen AI strategies that align with business objectives and client needs.
- Provide strategic guidance on data acquisition, collection methods, and the most relevant analytical approaches.
- Inspire cross-functional teams with compelling, data-driven insights that fuel innovation and decision-making.
- Serve as a key resource in agency AI initiatives, helping define project success metrics and data quality standards.
- Develop Gen AI use cases and applications for internal marketing, media, and strategy teams, enhancing their capabilities and driving innovation.
Continuous Learning & Innovation:
- Continuously evaluate emerging data sources and methodologies for their potential to improve the team’s predictive capabilities.
- Experiment with the latest AI tools and machine learning techniques, advocating for their adoption where beneficial.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and marketing to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.
- Act as a thought leader by maintaining a library of case studies, best practices, and competitive analyses.
- Actively engage with cultural, technological, and marketing trends to inform both internal and client-focused initiatives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience applying machine learning, data science and LLMs (GPT, LIama 3, Gemini) in business environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, with experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Strong skills in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., DOMO, Tableau, Power BI) to clearly communicate findings.
- Experience working with cloud-based data processing tools and AutoML platforms such as DataRobot is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas for various stakeholders.
- Previous experience in marketing or advertising is a plus.
- Eager to stay current on the latest Gen AI technologies and industry shifts, with a drive for continuous learning.
- Able to balance multiple projects with attention to detail, while maintaining strong organizational skills.
