ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist to join our team in Ft . Meade , MD .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
+ Manages data science strategy and implementation efforts.
+ Keep up to date with the latest breakthroughs in research and industry, which will be used to incorporate new data science tradecraft into areas of responsibility as they see fit.
+ Serve as the data science authority within their assigned projects and programs.
+ Oversee the development of new models and/or optimizingexisting models across datasets that include, but aren'tlimited to, text, speech, images, and video.
+ Supervise and mentor subordinate project and Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.
Minimum Q ualifications :
+ Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
+ 5 years of position-relevant work experience.
+ DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
Preferred Q ualifications:
+ Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
+ Vendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements; e.g., Oracle and Mongo.
C learance R equirement s :
+ Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain andmaintaina Polygraph.
Physical R equirements:
+ Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
+ Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
