As a Senior Data Scientist at CHG, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of data science strategies and projects. You will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists, working on complex data problems, and providing actionable insights that enhance our business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Lead data analysis activities to discover trends, patterns, and insights from large and complex datasets.
- Model Development: Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems and improve decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of data scientists, providing guidance, coaching, and support in their professional growth.
- Data Preprocessing: Manage data preprocessing and cleaning tasks, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Feature Engineering: Collaborate with data engineers to create and refine features for predictive models.
- Model Evaluation: Establish evaluation metrics and perform rigorous model evaluation and validation, iterating as needed.
- Communication: Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner, influencing data-driven decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to integrate data-driven solutions into our products and services.
- Experimentation: Design and analyze experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of data-driven initiatives.
- Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and best practices.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python or R.
- Expertise in data manipulation, feature engineering, and model development.
- Experience with data visualization tools and libraries.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $81,400 -- $247,200 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
