Job Description:
Explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources and employ techniques and theories drawn from many fields within the broad areas of mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and data engineering with the goal of discovering a previously hidden insight, which in turn can provide a competitive advantage or address a pressing business problem.
Incorporates techniques to find and interpret rich data sources, manage large amounts of data (Big Data problems), create visualizations to aid in understanding data, and present and communicate data insights to scientists, economists, and business managers.
– Possesses a solid quantitative background
– Combines a range of skills including statistics, programming, machine learning, data mining, structured and unstructured data, Big Data tools and modeling.
– Possesses credit domain knowledge, the ability to provide a data narrative, and a penchant for exploring data and finding patterns
