Data Scientist - Graham Technologies

Job Overview:

Graham Tech is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a set of techniques and analytics applications that transform raw data into meaningful insights, supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role will require proficiency in data-oriented programming languages, visualization software, and a deep understanding of data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data-driven techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Apply advanced data mining, data modeling, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML) techniques to extract and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Visualize data findings using cutting-edge visualization tools, ensuring that data is presented clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Interpret and report data analysis results, providing insights to inform decision-making processes.
• Create and maintain dynamic data reports that offer real-time insights for business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies that leverage data analysis to solve complex business challenges.
• Work independently to perform all functional duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3-10 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Education: BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
• Strong expertise in data mining, data modeling, NLP, and ML techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets, both structured and unstructured.
• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information) clearance required.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
